Taylor Swift is that rarest of pop phenomenons: a superstar who managed to completely cross over from the traditional to becoming an enduring popular icon, and sweeping the world in the process. It was a huge success in Canada, Australia as well as the U.K. Swift reached the heights of stardom when she released Speak Now. She grew in popularity over the course of her subsequent three albums: Red (2012), 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift was now firmly established within an industry she felt was hers to be. Although she slowed down her work with folklore and Evermore releases in 2020 she was still in the forefront of pop music.
