Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. The girl is English, half Spanish. Parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother comes from Spanish and English ancestry. The Taylor-Joy family was a household with six kids. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to learn English, hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting profession. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
